Please note, this is the SUNDAY ride starting from Mike’s Bikes in Los Gatos.  Wheels roll at 8:30.

This is the up Redwood Gulch route!!

Route will head along Winchester Blvd and left onto Dave’s.  We will travel the neighborhoods until we come out on Stevens Canyon Rd.  At the intersection with Mt. Eden we stop at Cooley Picnic Area on the right for bathrooms and water.  After a short stop you have the option to (1) go over Mt Eden to Saratoga (2) follow Stevens Canyon Rd to the end and then do Redwood Gulch (for an additional 4 miles), or (3) straight to Redwood Gulch.  We will CAREFULLY and SLOWLY descend Highway 9, being careful to avoid running into a stopped car or other hazards.  We will regroup with those who chose Mt Eden in Saratoga and enjoy an easy spin back to Mike’s Bikes.

Route is roughly 27 miles, 2,100 ft of climbing.
