This Saturday, I will lead the group to Old La Honda road in Woodside. We will meet at Mike’s Bikes in Los Gatos at 8:30 AM, wheels will roll at 8:35 AM. We will head to Old La Honda road in a counter-clockwise direction, beginning by taking Hwy9 to Pierce, followed by climbing Mt. Eden and descending down to Steven’s Canyon. We will try to keep the group together by paceline on Foothill, before turning on Arastradero Rd. We will stop for water/bathroom on Arastradero Rd before heading a bit further west into Portola Valley. We will regroup at the top of OLH before beginning our ride back to Los Gatos via Skyline and Hwy9. I will strongly advocate for keeping the group together as much as possible on Skyline Blvd. If needed, we can also stop for bathroom/water at the Skyline and Page Mill intersection.

The ride is 54 miles with just over 5000ft of elevation gain. Please bring plenty of nutrition and water and remember to refuel and rehydrate throughout the ride.
